My name is Adam, I am 26 years old and I live in Poland. I am MSc IT and I work as an assistant at the university – so I’m teaching students and making my way to get Ph.D. Because of job-specific, I’m programming a lot. Though forensics, penetration tests, IT security, and electronics are my thing.
But all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy, so I will tell a little about my hobbies. When I was younger I trained ballroom dancing for few years, now I’m training elements of taekwondo and kickboxing. Because I love animals and that I have a crazy dog we are training frisbee, rally-o and elements of agility. I like to watch movies both classics as the new ones – depends on the mood. Even more then movies I like books – I read when I have time for it. I prefer criminals and thrillers but to be honest I can read almost everything. With books, I need to mention pen and paper RPG’s with which I spend a lot of hours with friends and people from convents. After a year or two of being the gamer I “promoted” for game master and now I’m usually in the position of game master. My favorite ones are World of Darkness and good old Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay. Though for my last campaign I’ve created the world myself. I like to imagine stuff so it was hard work combined with a lot of pleasure.
If I say that my life would be emptier without music, it wouldn’t be much of an abuse. Music occupies an important place in my life. I listen to it almost all the time (that is why good sound card and headphones/speakers are really important). As for the genres, I listen to a variety of music from classic to pop, but my favorite one is old rock (80’s mostly), modern rock and a little bunch of rap-rock.
I guess that would be the best time to tell something about games. I played like crazy some time ago… (ahh sweet young days) Now I value my time too much to play too many games. So it’s Final Fantasy XIV (as my favorite MMO), Destiny 2 and Heroes of the Storm. Sometimes I play a little to some single player games, but not too much.
Thankfully my better half accepts my love for the games, as she is a gamer too. I guess that completes this image of me. Hope it wasn’t too boring to read 🙂
